That is a good idea! I hold my pups butt up to Bitsy's face and she'll clean them off after they poop and pee and I let her lick their faces after eating. She's either trying to clean their face or likes the taste of the food that they've eaten. Either way I win
Since they don't nurse anymore I do that too so she will feel like she's a part of taking care of them. If one of the pups poop and miss the pee pee pad, she eats the poop...I know...grose! unless I get to it first. I freaked out the first time I saw her do it but then I realized that when she'd lick them to stimulate the poops and pee it was the same thing. Bitsy is a neat freak I think
I hope it's nothing more than milk! Sometimes I still find a little dried spot around thier mouths and when I get it off they yelp even though I moisten it first
