My vet said it was a food problem, I kept changing foods with no results. He lost 2lbs. I then went for a 2nd opinion and the new vet started by worming him. He said if it were a male parasite there would be no eggs in the stools. 48 hrs later he was his old self again. There was a male parasite hanging around in his intestine causing this mess for 3mos. Good luck. |
Hi - Did Archie have what looked like blood in the diareha? Was it just liguid like hers? The vet said to give hamburgar / rice and then slowly add back her food like you stated. Is this as good as chicken or should I just do chicken? I tried to get her to eat the rice (even put a little chicken broth in it) and she wouldn't touch it. She loved the chicken breast though.
I just don't know how long she can keep doing this! Do you know anything about the Meds I was given???
