 Dog Park, ugh...
Just got home from the dog park.......
Took both Tucker and Tripp this time and all was well. They played with a little Bichon Frise boy very nicely and just walked around. Then a girl brings her Husky and Great Dane puppy over to the small dog side (25 lbs. and under) because they were "intimidated" by the big dogs... Like they aren't big themselves??!?!?
Everything is fine, I'm holding Tucker because he's really tired and Tripp is just walking around. The puppy comes over and tries to play with Tripp, but come on he's like 3 times his size. I walk over there and grab Tripp's harness seeing that the puppy was pretty rowdy, the puppy jumps at him and Tripp goes for the puppy's ear.
The puppy was fine, but his owner acted like she was going to explode... I felt bad for Tripp because I think he was just scared.
Was this my fault??? Wasn't he just acting in self defense? It's bothering me that she got mad, when it didn't have to be a big deal... Ugh... |
