I put some Nutri Cal on her lips and tried to get it into her mouth, but it wasn't helping. I yelled to my husband that I had to get her to the vet quick. The vet is about 10 miles away. As we were going to the vet she started to throw up. I ran into the vets office handed her to the receptionist and said she needs to see a Dr. NOW!!
Well, they kept her all day. They said she is fine now. But I'm still scared. She is not playful or happy acting. Would this just make her tired but she would still be okay? What about eating? They told me to make sure she eats plenty, but she is not eating. We've been home about a little over an hour. I'm so scared it will happen again.
Wow how scary. I would try to feed her something a little more inticing like cottage cheese mixed with moist food, boiled chicken and rice, or gerber meat sticks. Another food that picky eaters will often eat is the Lil Caesars moist dog food. Just keep trying different things untill you get her to eat and make sure to give the nutrical regularly.
