What is the ckc and what good would it do to have puppies registered that were not purebred? I heard that APRI is now going to have a registry for dogs that are not purebred as well.
My puppy is not AKC but APRI. The breeder told me that she didn't like AKC because they had sold out to the Arabs. I can't say I believed her but she was so obviously purebred with several beautiful breeding dogs on site & puppies from several different litters and had AKC papers on the parents. I checked the AKC site to see if maybe she had been denied privileges but she wasn't on it. I do not plan on breeding her and never did. She will be spayed as soon as she is old enough and she only weighs 2# at almost 4 months so probably wouldn't be breeding size anyway.
She also won't use Eukanuba because they do something she doesn't like in their testing.
Her facilities were very nice and I showed up unannounced. The only other dogs she even had on site were 2 very senior citizens. Any ideas why she would not use AKC? Do they cost the breeders more?
The pup did have coccidia but everything else has been good and she is just adorable. Thanks for reading my long post.
