Do you have any family that could take him until you get back on your feet? I know that you don't want to give him up and it would be so much better for both of you if he could still be there when you are ready to take care of him again. When I was going through some of these same things I almost sold my dogs, but then asked my mom to take them at the last minute. I was so glad that she did. She had them for a month before I could even think about taking care of them and even at that I didn't bring them all home for a while.
If that isn't an option then it sounds like there are plenty of people around here that want him. If they don't work out then there are yorkie rescues in your area also (just another option). I hope that things work out one way or another for you and especially your son. |
