Yes, you must have breeder's permission and signature to change her papers. But what you can do is to get their Pedigree. You can do this through AKC, if they are both (sire and dam) AKC (doesn't matter if limited papers or not). You just need to give AKC thier full names and AKC numbers of sire and dam. This will give your sellers the puppy's pedigree (family tree) and show that they are AKC family background. You just need to let them know that the pups do not have registered papers. You can also oder them online too.
