I haven't purchased it yet. I had already done some of the puppy shots when I looked into it. I checked into VIP and during the first year, they pay some of the puppy shots and either blood work, spaying or teeth cleaning yearly. All of these procedures were paid at a % of what my vet's office charges. So, I did the math and figured that if I purchased the premium insurance (about $350 a year), I would still end up paying quite a bit in vet charges and the total amount along with the insurance premiums was considerably higher than just paying for the services. So, I opted to not get the insurance during her first year. I will most likely pick up as a preventative soon.
