I take Max and Abbie to a "pet spa" for their grooms. They both have the same groomer so I usually drop them off about 9am and they spend 4-5 hours there. A massage is also included in full service groom. I don't mind leaving them there for a few hours because we've been going there for the past 2 years and they just seem to love it there. They are so happy when I pick them up.
