well, we are home from Saskatoon without Sedrick who has to spend a few more days recovering from MAJOR surgery. Apparently he has what is more commonly known as "wobblers syndrome" and was an acute case who should not have survived the initial injury. The Vets in Saskatoon are very efficient and wasted no time in deciphering our little boys problems. He spent 6 hours in surgery and had 8 pins put into the 1st and 2nd vertibrae to hold them together and will be in a upper body and neck cast for 8 weeks minimum. As I speak I am waiting for the Vet to phone to give us her nightly update on him. I will post with the update later.
Thank you for all you care and concern. Sedrick is our first puppy after 16 years of cats and he means the absolute world to us.
