Well, my vet uses a scalpel. She doesn't see any advantage to using laser and that people who have had their pets undergo both types of surgeries don't see any difference. I believe she said she uses Butorphenol/Acepromazine for preop meds and Ketamine mixed with Valium for the induction agent. She could use PropoFlo instead of the mix but it's more expensive. The sutures are Monocryl, which she says are the best. |
