Hmm.. one time he had an upset tummy another time he had started playing/running alot shortly after eating (which makes sense) and up it came. He's never gotten car sick. OH, but he did get "carrier sick" the first two times I took him out in his bag. Now that I think of it, usually when it is food coming up (and not just bile/foamy crap) it's usually whole pieces. I've always noticed that there's very little warning and little sound when he's throwing up his food (now when he's throwing up foam/bile, that's another story!) He doesn't do it often though and I don't worry about it. I wouldn't worry unless he got into repeated vomiting. Dogs throw up from time to time - and it's not always something to worry about... just think about the things they put in their mouth all the time (ew) I'd throw up too!
