 Question about sick baby---
Hi,
I'm the happy mommy of 3 Yorkies, but this morning I had a scare with my Shih-Tzu puppy who is 10 weeks old. She woke up vomiting, I tried to pick her up and she was crying & just went limp. I sat her up & she was kind of bobbing her head around. I picked her up to bring her down the hall to show my husband and she went completely limp in my arms. While she was in my arms she also pooped. I laid her on the floor and she threw up once again. She was really lethargic last night but I thought that was because she had been to see the vet earlier in the evening and she was just tired. After about 15 minutes she was up again and eating. Any ideas on what could have caused this? I called the vet & they thinks it could have been a seizure and didn't sound like it was anything to be concerned about unless it happened again. I am taking her in the morning to get checked. From some of the other posts I have read from the group, I'm thinking it could have been hypoglycemia, I don't remember her eating alot last night after getting home from eye specialist, she also has a corneal dermoid. She had her 10 week vaccinations on Wednesday. Thanks for your help! |
