When we first brought our Hootie girl home about a month ago, she was doing this exact same thing. So, at her first vet checkup we asked the vet about it and she told us that as long as she was not throwing up yellow bile or food, and as long as it is just white foamy stuff, then it is nothing to be worried about. She says that sometimes puppies will do this when they come into the air conditioner from the outside in the heat or if they just get something caught in their throat. Hootie did it about 5 or 6 times the first and second week we had her and never did it again. The vet told us not to worry. So, I think you are good to go!
