How long are you suppose to keep him on pain meds? I know what you mean by not wanting an x-ray if not needed, they are so expensive, but how do we know for sure. If he wasn't on pain meds, I wonder if it would hurt him to walk and run, or for you to even feel his foot. It's a tough call, but only you know what you're comfortable with doing.
