I also have a westie and 2 yorkies. Hefner is hyper when we go to the park or playgroup. He loves to sleep however and sometimes doesn't really wake up until 10 am and he goes to sleep at 9pm and he naps during the day. He's a little pudgy. My westie was never really hyper but loved to play and learn tricks. She is very smart and loves to perform. Hefner is almost too hyper to learn tricks. Both are single minded if after a "mouse, rat or bunny which is what they are instinctually programmed to do!
Terriers are notoriously stubborn and I would have to agree with that for both westies and yorkies. |
