I have two Westies, they're sisters and 5 years old this month; I've had them since they were 9 weeks old. I also have 2 Yorkies...Harry is 18 weeks; Paris is 17 weeks. Paris is hyper; Harry is more relaxed. I do not remember my Westies being as hyper as Paris when they were pups; so, in my opinion, it all depends on the terrier's personality.
