One of my dogs would eat Caesar's salads until they came out her nose.....
Lettuce isn't the most nutritional thing in the world, but with a little cheese, a few croutons, some carrots, and perhaps some meat, -- it could be more nutritional.
Certainly doesn't hurt them.
Both my dogs and both my cats eat grass outside constantly. Sometimes I think I have a bunch of grazing animals. It's really funny when I look out back and see two horse, two dogs, and two cats grazing.
