Just "because" they are AKC doesn't mean they are going to bring in money. There are good and bad dogs from any registry. It is the breeder that stands behind them that makes them what they are worth. My advice is to do some research. Talk to some breeders in your area or on here for that matter. Get a feel for what you may be in for. Have both your potential parents tested for genetic health issues and if this is still something you wish to do, I'm sure you will find people willing to guide and help you. I don't agree with the fact that you only intend to breed to get a new building but if you are truly wanting to breed for the love of the breed, then find a mentor and go from there.
