Thank you all for some great advise. Without making this thing too long
I live 150mi from my sister. We see each other maybe 1time a yr. With work
and all. Last yr I boarded Buddy to visit her, they still had their dog. It was
only for two days but Buddy picked up a parasite and it cost me $2,000.00 and
four days in the hosp. I will never board him again. It took four months to
get him well again so boarding is out. I don't want to hurt her feeings, we
never, never had words. So I have to handle this with kid gloves. Buddy is
two and is completly trained in every way. I would never ask to bring a
dog into anyone's home, he suggested to me to bring him but tie him outside.
I feel much better knowing I was not to sensitive in my feelings. Your all right
when stated many do not realize how delicate these pups really are. Thanks
again for all your advise. When she asks me to come I will tell her her hubby
asked also and suggested to tie Bud outside and I will not do that. Then leave
the rest up to her. I don't know why I did not think of that to begin with, I
guess I was just too hurt to see things clearly. Thanks again, Carol
