We have pool in the ground. The dogs love to run around it, play ball with the kids when they are in the pool but when it comes to them getting in the water, you might as well be pulling teeth. The only time they get in the pool is if they accidently fall in. That is other than days it is so hot, like it has been here since Sunday, in the 90's. I put them in near the steps, rather they like it or not. I don't put them in just because it's hot but to teach them to swim to the steps where they can get out. If someone accidently falls in, the rest of the dogs bark, and bark, and bark. And I can tell the difference in the way they bark when someone is in the pool. By the sounds of today's weather forecast, they will be going swimming again today.
