I have a pair of dice on my right shoulder blade and it didn't hurt. Now the one on my stomach hurt like a bi**h!!!! And no the skin does not get numb and It is very addicting. My mom kicked me out of the house when I got my second one and told me she would disown me if I got a third. Otherwise I would probly have got them all over...LOL
