O.K. I'm a baaaaad mommy too. Mitzi eats when we eat and she always gets some small pieces from us. Only when we tell her 'no more' she turns to her own food. If she would be bigger we wouldn't allow that. My Leonberger Inka (135 lbs.) never eat with us and never got something right from the table. This way we could take her to every restaurant (I'm from Germany where dogs are allowed) and she would lay under the table and didn't bother us begging.
