Default neutering

The reason for waiting until the adult teeth come in, is to prevent putting them under anthesthia twice. Sometimes all the baby teeth fall out, especially in a larger Yorkie...but many times a couple many be retained.

My vet told me once that he worked for me..I paid him for his advise and good care of my dogs. You as the owner are capable of reading, asking questions of other fanciers and making a wise decision concerning your dog.
There are many things we have to rely on the vet's knowledge for, but some things are not life and death and we can make a judgement.
Tell your vet you want to finish with the puppy shots, then in 2 weeks a rabies, then at 5 to 6 months neutering. Nothing in this advise is risking the heakth of your Yorkie..it is wise not to overload on shots and neutering all at once.
