definitely a small crate... the small ones fit dogs up to 10 pounds comfortably, and your yorkie most likely will not get that big- and even that size, I have a stuffed animal and blanket in there for Schatzi, and she has plenty of room (she's 2.4 lbs, 12 weeks old).
