I am a new yorkie mommy. I bought whiskey for my husband's birthday in may. He wanted a man's dog but when i saw her sweet face i fell in love. We also have a chihuahua and a daschund/rat terrier mix and i would have to say that they are the smartest dogs i have ever owned. Sweet Pea is my youngest daughter's doggie and she sleep with her every night and would guard us with her life. Harley is the mix and she belongs to my oldest daughter and she will do all kinds of tricks to have her belly rubbed-she is very intelligent and very sweet. What is sad is that my vet told me that Sweet Pea is getting cataracts. I bought her when my husband got sent to Iraq because we needed someone to snuggle on while he was fighting in Iraq. I'm just rambling on but just thought i would let you know that those types of dogs are very loyal and loving. |
