Some of you might know that I have a baby with congestive heart failure, he is taking Lasix on a daily basis. I make all my babies take a vitamin tablet every morning....and about 2 - 3 times a week , I add half pediatric electrolyte solution to their water. Thinking this might help with a loss of potassium in my little one. The other 2 don't care for it, but too bad, I don't think it will hurt them . I am just trying to cover all the aspects of my tiny one loosing too much potassium while taking this lasix........poor thing just peeps so many times a day. I keep a close eye on him and his liquid comsumption, as well I should.
Anyway, if anyone has any experience with dehydration issues , I would greatly appreciate your input.
