Thanks Mike, Kelly, and Corrine Oh, it is so difficult to loose our pets, I can't quit thinking of April and it is now going on one in the morning. I don't think I can sleep. I have to get someone with a tractor this morning, what a dreadful task this will be. I think we will try to place Phoebe with someone close by that has other sheep, we just don't want her to be alone cause I know she won't last. We had them sheared before summer. It is so funny to watch when they first get sheared they don't recognize one another and but heads, every year they would do this, till they finally figured out who each other was. I always bought them carrots and how they loved getting the dropped fruit from our trees, and just last week when watermelon was on special I got them one, yes I sure did spoil them but like I always told everyone they sure earned their keep by helping us keep down the weeds in the pasture. So glad I took pictures of them through the years. I am sure going to miss going out and calling them,"Baby Baby Babies, hurry hurry hurry," to give them treats, they always came running. |
