The vet wants me to call her in three days. She did assure me that this should stop her vomiting and that she would not have go be on pepcid for too long. We will have to wait and see.
Reese has been having this problem on and off for the past month or two. She does seem to be fine even after just vomiting and runs right to her food and eats as if nothing ever happened. My vet also told me to try to split up her meals into three meals. That might help as well as giving her a little late night snack of her own food prior to going to bed. We also have her weight issue. She should lose at least a pound or two.
I am also bringing back the IAMs weight management food. My vet said that I shouldn't have listened to the receptionist/nurse. I asked her to please not reprimand her. I myself should have known not to listen to a receptionist over my vet. I will probably change her back to the prescribed Hills RD food and see if it does help.
I hope your puppy feels better. Please keep me posted as to how she is doing and I will do the same. Thanks again for your responses.
