Lucky is 2 1/2 weeks old and weighs in at a whole 6 1/8 ounces. His eyes are open and he is moving around some. He is so tiney and petite.
In response to a contract on a former post. When Lucky came I really did not have much hope that he was going to survive. I just knew that we would do the best that we could to meet the little guy's needs. It was all up to the man upstairs to give the little man the determination and will to survive.
I have had my day with contracts. You can end up with more problems then they are worth. When a contract is written- if the other party intends to take advantage of you they will write the contract with just those intents.
It would seem that you have to go line by line and make sure that each party has the same understanding of the words written. If it is unclear rewrite the bloody thing until it has no hidden adgendas.
Sometimes you just have to take folks at face value. You will win sometimes and sometimes you will loose that is part of life. It does make you stronger for the next situation that you will be a little more careful.
Old days a handshake and a verbal agreement was good enough. Our world has changed. I can say that for everyone who has tried and has taken unfair advantage of me- something good has came out of the situation in the long run.
Sometimes it may not look like a blessing but you have to sit back and watch
the blessings grow.
Lucky was a blessing for me. Shows I still have what it takes to take care of the little ones. Gave me the opportunity to give something back to someone
else. Hope that I will make a postive impact in Lucky and his owner's life.
I was told that it is a ripple effect- Someone was kind to me- ( and boy were they) I return it to someone else and the chain continues.
What can I say this is the kinder, gentler me. |
