When I was trying to decide whether to get a male or female.. EVERYONE.. said DONT GET A MALE.... and there #1 and only real reason was because to the Marking.... which I was SOOO afraid of ... but finally found pups but only had 2 males!!! I didnt know what to do,,,, BUt guess what I did... I took HIM home....
... and yes he did mark twice, only at other peoples houses,,(that had dogs) and then he got fixed and he has not done it since!!
So Im so glad I got him... and did not listen to everyone...
But, my neighbor had an Unneutered,,, 5 year old male,,, and he marks constantly!! SO thats one reason....
