Even though I use advantage on all my dogs I did find one tick on my Sophie. It was stuck to the inside corner of her eye.
I'm guessing the soap thing would not be a good idea there.
I used some tweezers and gripped it as close to the head as possible and then pulled gently until it let go. I guess it had not been there long because it came right off, head and all. That is the important part. You want to make sure you get it off whole.
I will try the soap if I ever find anymore. We do not usually see alot where I live in Michigan. They probably don't like freezing their butts off in the winter!!
