I think they just have to get used to it. My older dog is perfectly still for me to do anything to her but the two younger ones are just now getting used to it. ceeby is soo funny. When I comb or brush him he leans against my and gets on his hind legs. He will stand flat if I back away where he can't reach me. The two little ones tremble as if they are scared to death (not bad tho). I set them on the bathroom sink and it is high so I guess they are afraid they will fall off but they are getting where they are still. i can't get bows in any of their hair tho.
