I don't know if you will be able to help me (or maybe someone here can), but I am a 47-year-old married female in Ohio looking for a Yorkie or Yorkie mix puppy to adopt at a low cost. I live on a 2 1/2 acre lot so the puppy would have plenty of room to run and play. My children are now grown, and I'm looking for one of these adorable puppies as a pet and companion, but I can't afford to pay some of the high prices I've been seeing. The dog wouldn't have to be purebred, as I'm not interested in breeding.
If anyone can offer any suggestions, I would be most appreciative. I've seen so many internet scams involving these dogs that I am very leary now.
