i've given tucker children's benadryl before. i read on here somewhere that it would calm him down and maybe help with carsickness. the first time it helped. he went right to sleep. but the second time, he got really wound up! (as if yorkies aren't wound up already!) anyway, i'd say keep that in mind. i react to benadryl like that sometimes and other times it knocks me out... who knows?
