Aaaaaaaaawwww....I'm sorry! I didn't mean to bum anyone out! I just couldn't introduce myself without including Finn, especially since it did just happen this past April, so Finn is still very much in our thoughts. Thank you for all your kind comments about Finn (and Huck) and for all the warm welcomes.

The term "teapot yorkie" really made me smile. I hadn't really considered a larger yorkie, because I figured a yorkie is a yorkie - they're lap dogs. Do your larger yorkies have a tremendously different tempermant than the smaller yorkies. Do they have that bigger dog personality - do you know what I mean? My boys haven't really had a dog of their own to bond with or think or as their own, because Huck (Finn also) is really more like the family baby then the family dog. His favorite passtime isn't chasing a ball or romping around the house with the kids - he's happiest cuddled up in a nice warm lap. He's a "mommy's dog" (which is, of course, what I so love about yorkies, but for some reason has left my 3 and 4 year old boys wanting a little more - go figure! ). So, I would just be afraid even a larger yorkie would still have that "lap dog" tempermant.
