That is terrible what happened. But was your dog on a leash? Keeping him closer might help out in case this happens again. Plus you might have trouble calling the police on his dogs being loose if your dog was loose as well.
I would first try to talk to the neighbor about it. Maybe there is a way he can keep better control of his dogs by keeping them inside or improving his fence. If he doesn't fix the problem then call the police/animal control for his dogs running loose. Thank god you two are both safe. |
