My 5 month old Yorkie hates to be brushed.. she starts biting even if she see's me take the brush out! So, we have found a compermise that I put her harness on and hold the top of the harness with one hand while I comb her with my free hand. All the while she is chewing and biting the brush. Her face is the hardest part, she really doesnt like to be touched around her face at all. But it gets better each day - you have to try a little each day so the dog gets used to it little by little. Hope that helps... it is an uphill battle for sure....but the harness works wonders so she cant squirm away and she knows I am in control of her movement.
