AKC will allow any two AKC sire and dam to be used for breeding. Quality is not a factor..the standard is not a factor...but as a breeder we decide what type breeder we will be...will we breed to the standard to produce a dog as much like the standard as possible, to insure the Yorkie will stay a Yorkie..or will we ignore it and produce what suits our fancy? We would have to change the name of this forum to..

AKC can not regulate ethic's..nor should they..that is up to the breeder to decide for themselves. |
