People are idiots. I will be sooooo glad when this teacup craze passes....and I OWN one!!!

My 10 month old (who was given to us) is less than three lbs, and just me myself personally, I do NOT like it. I love HER, you understand, but ooooooh I wish she'd put some meat on her bones. I much prefer the stockier, more substantial build of my 14 week old puppy--I think she's much more cuddley!

Anyway, my puppy already weighs more than the 10 month old, and when we're out in public she automatically gets "passed over" by all the people ooohing and awwwwing over my older tiny girl. So I'm BRACING myself for what it will be like when she's grown. I know it's going to tick me off!

EVERYONE I meet who sez. that they want a yorkie is looking for "teacups". I try to take advantage of the opportunity to educate about the possible health and safety issues, and noone wants to hear it. They're all like, "But I just want a little dog to sit by me on the couch while I watch TV". What the heck?!?! Anything over four lbs. is too big to sit by you on the couch?! Someone forgot to tell that to my 16 lb. cat!
