You probably did the right thing, to ignore them and their stupidity. I would have been tempted to educate them to the breed standards, but I found people like this don't really care about things like standards. They will be crass in their comments regardless of what they have been told. Girl, you must have some sort of self control though, cause I don't think I could have walked away w/o some comment
