when we are at home i also use newspaper but i put it around the outside of the pads and the pads in the middle....he will pee on the pads and poo on the paper and i just pick the poo up and flush it also...when we are in the truck i use alot more pads because there is no room for the paper...and if i dont chage them after every 2 or 3 times he will not use them he is picky about it lol...if there is pee on the pad he will step really high so he dont step in it....but if he poos i pick it up right away or he will stand there and look at me until i do he will not use the pad or paper if there is poo on it anywhere...lol
