The color of the blood would be determined by the problem...a dog can have a black stool from hookworms or internal bleeding..but if it is from a stomach upset, the blood is usually red, or pinkish and mixed with mucus as a rule..
Knee surgery does not cause internal bleeding..injury or disease can cause internal blood loss.
Brown vomit is a common color..good luck |
