Thank you all for your comments. Like I said, I have tried to let it go grow but the matts are a killer. I have scissors in one hand and the comb/brush in another. The scissors are for cutting the numerous matts she gets if I just skip a few days of grooming. Villette, I will try the comb to see if that will help. You are right-her hair is thick and thinning should help. Right now when people ask me what she is- I say she is a Ewok from Star Wars. Its funny because they always laugh and say, " You are right!" Everyone always thinks she looks fat when her hair grows out and she does because cotton coats don't lay flat. But as soon as I get her hair cut ( or a bath) she is a skinny minnie. Yep that is what she is- a teddy bear AKA Ewok!
