i know this may sound really gross, but when romeo poops i pick it up and throw it in the toilet. then he continues to poop in the same spot for days. it like insurance he won't poop on the carpet. it doesn't smell because i get it within minutes. once he pees a few times i toss them in the trash. awe.. life as a yorkie mom.
