The first time we had Higgins groomed, it was done very evenly, but VERY short all over. He looked like a different breed. However, it was summer and he loves to run in our woods, so it stayed cleaner....not so full of leaves and pine needles and stuff. One good thing: When it grew in, it was a much nicer silky coat! So maybe something good will come out of this for your little one.

We just gave our wiggler a bath and a trim yesterday. Don had to hold him while I snipped here and there. Hardly a good grooming, but a good in-between-groomings job. He hated it. Sigh.
