We don't have the underwear problem, but Penny likes to shred used tissues. She'll ignore clean ones; I even had a box of them sitting on the floor in the office for ages. She paid no attention. But if the bathroom trash is full of tissues, she'll pull out one and shred it.

We show it to her and tell her no, but that's about all we can do besides making sure she can't get to them. It's really only an occasional occurrence.
