Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. It is so difficult to know what is normal when I haven't seen other pups and cats interact. I feel better about Mia and Poe's relationship now.
We will let them do their own thing while watching very closely to intervene if things seem to get out of hand. I know Mia wants friends to play with, and I know Poe does too, but they play in very different ways. I am afraid they will misunderstand each other and end up hurting each other. I think things would calm down a bit more when Mia grows up too. She is a little ball of energy right now, and Poe is a big wise boy. It is actually kind of funny to see Mia pull Poe down because he is so much bigger than her. But then I feel bad for Poe. He used to be the king of the house, and now there is a little bitch that usurped his throne. Poor kitty cat, he can't even sleep on our bed anymore. We do our best to give him a lot of attention. Well, I hope things will get better eventually because we love them both sooooo much.
