Hehehe dont worry you are probably not scaring your pup...Im pretty sure you have done the usual " No bad boy dont do that" and that is all that it takes for them to do that. The meat tederizer works fairly quick...my dog stopped the first time he tried eating it afterwards i put in the meat tenderizer. They just really dislike it! Well good luck!
