We too used to raise MInis and those little ones can be soo tiny we had a colt that was 15 inches high at birth one year.
We live right by the State Park and have alot of coyotes and neighbors dogs that run loose and do what they want.
We had an attack on one of them called our local sheriff and he told us if they are on our property shoot them,the neighbors dogs and the coyotes.
We called the neigbors told them to keep their animals in their own yard or there may be problems.We did end up shooting one coyote.who went after the horse? the dogs or coyotes we will never know.
We never had an attack on the minis again so we were assuming it was coyotes.
We do have to take out the pellet gun and pop the neighbors german shepard every now and then who likes to come and harass our yorkies,one pop and he is gone but he forgets and comes back after a few weeks,
If your neigbors dogs are on your property then you should be able to do something about it call your local sheriff and see what rights you have as a property owner.Us who are in the country can do alot more than locals and town people.
